					Hello all!

This email is to let you know that BombshellBetty.net was indeed
attacked by hackers/bots/pranksters this past week. The gist of the
attack was that they somehow got a spy/adware script placed on many of
the pages, and they also seemed to be reporting my site as "phishing"
so people started getting "mal-ware" and "phishing" notices when they
surfed my page. These scripts have been removed and passwords changed,
and now everything seems to be back in order. The Google diagnostic
report on my site said that the malicious script had NOT INFECTED
ANYONE through my website. It seems to have merely caused a false alarm
when people tried to access the site. 

Some things you should know:

- No personal information is EVER stored on my server, so your
information was never in danger.
- Paypal is very secure, so even if my site is attacked, you are still
safe when you send me money.
- My website got a complete overhaul to remove scripting that left it
vulnerable to being hacked. For now, some pages do not look as cute as
before because of this. For example, all photo slideshows have been
removed. I am now working on ways to include fun content without
compromising the security of the site.
- If you have Norton, McAfee, or some other anti-virus program you
should be well protected from infected sites anyway. If you don't have
those, you either have a Mac or I advise that you do get a good
anti-virus program.

If you were hesitant to browse my site due to this situation, I hope
you will feel safe in visiting again, now that this problem has been
taken care of. Thank you all for your patience and for letting me know
there was a problem. Sign ups didn't slow down at all during this, so I
can tell that most people have good anti-virus programs!

I thought this needed it's own e-mail, so I will be sending out a
separate annoucement for some April classes/workshops that have a few
spots left, shows, and other fun things going on around here at
Bombshell Betty Dance soon!
