2/4: FAN DANCING SPECIALTY SERIES
Made famous by Sally Rand with her 6 foot wide, luscious white ostrich feather fans swirling about her legs like a glorious ball gown, fan dancing is one of the most iconic, graceful and beautiful of the burlesque arts... and one of the most often requested subjects in burlesque classes! This special series is only offered once a year at the Bombshell Betty Dance studio, so you won't want to miss it!

2/7: BURLESQUE FAN MAKING WORKSHOP
In this hands-on workshop Bombshell Betty will demonstrate several techniques for making burlesque fans, whether starting from scratch after a trip to your local craft store or starting with store-bought fans and transforming them from ho-hum to ooh-aah in a few easy steps. Fan making kits will be discussed, as well as many alternative materials and construction techniques, including a demonstration of how to make your own acrylic fan staves. Participants will make a pair of fans in the workshop! NO PREVIOUS CRAFTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

2/8: RETRO HAIRSTYLING WORKSHOP
Learn how to look like a Film Noir screen goddess! Expanded from the first class presented at the Tease-o-rama 2007 daytime convention, this class will go into depth on how to create fabulous period looks for yourself using quick and easy modern styling techniques and products. Styles include: 1940's Victory Rolls, the Faux Bob, Pin Curls and more! This one-of-a-kind workshop is appropriate for all levels of styling skill, for beginners or professionals!

2/10: BURLESQUERCISE INTENSIVE: Break Into the Bump and Grind!
In this 12-week intensive, you will learn everything you need to know to get started in burlesque! By the time you finish this course, you will have a strong foundation in burlesque movement, a solid stage persona, and the ability to fully engage your audience while telling your story through burlesque striptease. You'll know how to incorporate props into your act, including using your clothing as props and twirling nipple tassels. You'll have created signature moves and learned how to invent your own dance moves for the stage. PLUS MUCH MORE! Want to stand out from the crowd? Go from "wanna-be" to "gotta-see" in only 12 weeks!

2/12: CARDIO CAN-CAN!
Get in shape with Cancan Dancing! Each Cardio-Cancan class starts with a ballet based warmup and stretching, then we go over specific steps and techniques for cancan kick lines, traveling steps and turns. Finally, get your heart pumping with flirty cancan choreography! It's so much fun, you won't even realize you are working out! All students in Cardio-Cancan classes are eligible to perform in Bombshell Betty's newest performance project, "Bombshell Betty's Knicker Kickers"! Appropriate for all levels of skill and flexibility.
