Cosmic Creation

Creativity peaks this weekend as the Divine Mother and Cosmic Father merge at the New Moon.

The Sun and Moon meet in Cancer, sign of creation and birth. The potential of the June Solstice this past week manifests into form.

As a new lunar cycle begins, the Moon receives no light from the Sun. The darkness of this night is the Void, a point of creation. What will you bring forth from the sacred womb?

Past the Solstice gateway, everything is new, new, new. We have grown in consciousness, and the old forms don't fit anymore. How will you restructure your life to reflect the changes?

As the fixed cross of the Solstice dissolves, the heaviness lifts and we feel freer to play and create. Jupiter trines the Moon on Sunday, expanding the playful vibe.

Celebrate the act of creation. Paint, draw, sing, dance, prepare a gourmet meal. Notice the opening a new activity creates in your being. Follow the flow of inspiration.

Mercury Retrograde - July 4-28

Mercury presses the cosmic rewind button when he stations retrograde on the Fourth of July. In the U.S., this is a civil holiday honoring America's independence from England. The baby bird leaves the nest, but with Mercury traveling backward though Cancer we may not feel like venturing too far from the comfort and security of home. Review issues of emotional maturity. Notice where you're clinging to Other for sustenance rather than finding your own strength and claiming your independence.
