Crescendo of Awareness

Consciousness manifests as the Divine imprint of Love on humanity.

The Moon is waning. A cycle comes to completion. The Sun and Moon rendezvous in Taurus to begin a new cycle that will culminate in the Wesak Full Moon in May. Consciousness is growing, expanding within us. The lotus blooms.

The season of the Spring Festivals continues for three months – April, May and June – creating a special portal for higher consciousness to be seeded in the Earth plane. We are blessed to receive the Christ-Buddha energies in service to humanity.

This weekend we celebrate Beltane, one of the four cross-quarter alignments of Sun, Earth and Moon considered to be the most powerful gateways in the Solar Year for manifestation and celebration.

The crescendo builds as the Moon waxes to full on Wesak, the festival of the Cosmic Buddha-Christ.

Throughout this period, our responsibility is to live in mindfulness, in gratitude. Each thought, each movement, each action is a prayer.

May we give thanks in each moment and express our gratitude through gifting each other and the Earth, showering Creation with blessings as we have so richly received.

Planetary Alignments Update

A lunar cycle comes to completion with the New Moon on Thursday, followed closely by Beltane (May Day) this weekend. Spring blooms in the Northern Hemisphere. Creative potential is at a peak. Direct the flow into your projects, plans, hopes and dreams.

There’s a hemmed-in feeling thanks to a Grand Fixed Cross throughout this period. Focus this energy toward healing issues from the past and drawing in new information that supports forward movement at a higher level.

Venus is moving into hard aspect to Pluto (direct on Sunday), creating tension that could just lead to a breakthrough in the Relationship Department.

New Moon in Taurus – April 27 – 3:45 PM EDT; 7:45 PM GMT

The Moon joins the Sun in Taurus to initiate a fresh lunar cycle as new life springs from the Earth. Our attention turns to earthly matters – finances, gardening, outdoor activities. It’s time for spring cleaning on all levels. Consider an herbal cleanse for the body. Clear emotional, mental and physical clutter. Release negative thoughtforms and addictions that enslave the mind. Clean house. Give away what you don't use or need. Let go.

Taurus reminds us to connect with Mother Earth who provides for our needs. How are we caring for her? The Earth Day theme continues each day as we grow in consciousness toward a more sustainable future. Venus square Pluto – April 30

When the Goddess of Love squares off with the Transformer, sparks are sure to fly. Converting this energy into meaningful progress in our relationships is a positive expression of this alignment, a square that moves to become exact in the wee hours of Sunday morning. In addition to Venus-Pluto, some activity earlier in the weekend with Chiron, Mars, Venus and the Sun opens the door for deep healing of old wounds.

Beltane – Traditional April 30-May 1; Zodiacal May 4

One of eight pagan Sabbats of the solar year, the great spring festival of Beltane marks the midpoint between the Vernal Equinox and Summer Solstice. Beltane is one of four Greater Sabbats celebrated on the “cross-quarters” – astronomical gateways that fall halfway between the solstices and equinoxes.

Beltane derives from Gaelic and Druid traditions and means “bright fire.” The traditional theme is purification. In modern times, Beltane is often blended with the more Germanic celebration of May Day, which falls on May 1 and focuses on fertility.

The cross-quarters empower our intention and prayer work and are excellent gateways for interdimensional experience. Intentions, ritual and ceremony will be highly effective throughout the period from the Taurus New Moon through Beltane and on to the Wesak Full Moon on May 12-13.

Wesak Moon

Wesak is celebrated on the Full Moon during the Sun's transit of Taurus each year. The most sacred of holy days in the Buddhist spiritual calendar, Wesak celebrates the birth, death and enlightenment of the Buddha.

Spiritual energies are at a peak during Full Moons, and in Buddhist tradition the Wesak Moon is the most potent among these. This year’s Wesak Moon falls on May 12-13 at 11:52 PM PDT May 12; 2:52 AM EDT May 13; 6:52 AM GMT May 13.

This is a powerful time for prayer and devotion with a focus of healing and enlightenment for all beings.

In metaphysical teachings, the Masters of the Spiritual Hierarchy, spiritual aspirants, initiates and disciples - both physical and non-physical - gather in a valley high in the Himalayas to focus higher-dimensional energy into the Earth grid to support humanity's ascension process.

During Wesak, we gain access to higher dimensional frequencies that assist in planetary ascension and our individual enlightenment. This is a special opportunity to link with others on the initiatory path and the ascended beings who guide humanity's evolutionary process.
