Galactic Wake-Up Call

Greetings on the Pisces New Moon! This is a deeply spiritual time, an opening to new and higher dimensions of awareness.

Soon the energies of 2006 will shift again with eclipses, planets changing direction, the Spring Equinox gateway and Pluto coming into closer and closer alignment with the center of our galaxy. And that's just in March!

Today's New Moon is the perfect time to set your intention for positive change. Mercury squares Pluto on Tuesday, February 28, before stationing retrograde on Thursday. Keep communications clear and peaceful. Tuesday is also Mardi Gras, another opportunity to remember in prayer our brothers and sisters affected by the Gulf Coast hurricanes last year.

We begin a new month with Uranus conjunct the Sun on March 1. Keep an open mind to change and new ideas. March is named for warrior Mars, and the planetary alignments throughout this month, including an eclipse series and Pluto's approach to the Galactic Center, will create their share of upheaval.

Mercury Retrograde begins Thursday, March 2. It's a good day to lay low and go with the flow. Plans could be snarled. They can be untangled with patience. Jupiter stations retrograde on Saturday, March 4. This is a time to reshape philosophies and refine priorities.

Within the context of 2012 and the transformation of consciousness, this is an especially accelerated period of healing and spiritual awareness. The heart of the matter is change, and a deepening of our connection to Divine Source.

We may experience confusion alternating with bouts of clarity, inner peace interspersed with desperate longing, deep depression giving way to periods of great hope, joy and optimism. The rollercoaster ride continues.

Through the eclipse period and Pluto's transit, old wounds and associated patterns - anger, addictions, codependency – will surface for healing. If we resist, the symptoms worsen. Now's the time for spring cleaning.
