The double-barrel line-up of this spiritual master number creates a portal for Christ Consciousness energies to stream into our Earth grid. Lightworkers facilitate a planetary activation on this date each year, and away we go into higher and higher dimensions! Through the Samhain gateway last week (October 31-November 6), we experienced death and rebirth. Gone are some vestiges of ego that have held us in old patterns and programs. Now we begin anew. We’re finding our center at a higher level as the energies level off this week. Mercury Retrograde approaches, allowing time and space for integration. We are blessed by the divine perfection of this Earth walk. 11/11 Gateway - November 11 Mercury Retrograde - November 13-December 3 Full Moon in Taurus/Scorpio - November 15-16 - 7:57 p.m. EST November 15; 12:57 a.m. GMT November 16 Saturn Station Retrograde - November 22 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lightbody and Ascension “Your Spirit is shifting your positioning in relation to ascension. Allow the sweetness of transfiguration to fill your soul.” - What Is Lightbody? With all the recent shifts on the planet, the past is being released, and we’re attuning to higher frequencies of the incoming cosmic energies, commonly known as Love. This is part of the ascension process humanity and the Earth are experiencing together. At the 11/11 Cosmic Gateway this Friday, we’ll be able to tap into cosmic energies flowing into our Earth grid and access other possible and future dimensions. Our only “task” is to set our intention, then to “be,” and allow it. We anchor higher consciousness with meditation, with yoga, with connection to friends and strangers on the street, through contact with the Mother Earth and all her creatures. You may have noticed a surge in incoming cosmic energy last week. A gamma ray burst struck the Earth on October 28, creating a surge of Universal Life Force energy flowing into the planet. The period of highest intensity was overnight November 1-2. Did you feel it? The burst, originating from a galaxy 6.8 billion light years from Earth, was detected by scientists on Earth and by the Mars Odyssey spacecraft currently orbiting the red planet. In metaphysics, stars are highly evolved sentient beings who give off their light, their energy, that other beings may evolve. Incoming cosmic rays are being directed to planet Earth to support our growth and ascension. It’s all part of the Divine Plan. The Lightbody process involves the transformation of our physical, mental and emotional bodies so that we may embody more Light. Buddhists call this enlightened form the Rainbow Body of Light. In Meso-American tradition, the transfigured form is represented by Quetzalcoatal, the feathered serpent. To tribes in North America, Eagle is the symbol for an enlightened being. The number corresponding to this vibration is, you guessed it, “11.” We’re all moving toward enlightenment together and we’re in the midst of a quantum shift right now. As we transform, we experience many “symptoms” that are often confusing and disconcerting. We can we be blissed out and peaceful one moment, bursting at the seams with anger the next, then crying uncontrollably from the depths of our soul. We alternate from states of rapture to the depths of despair in a heartbeat. Have you ever forgotten to eat for long stretches, then find you’re ravenous with hunger, sometimes for things you don’t normally want? Sadness, depression, grief and longing are common. So are bouts of ecstasy. We may sleep more than usual for days in a row, then lie wide awake through a series of sleepless nights. These fluctuations are common as we integrate the incoming energies, release for the Earth, humanity, our ancestors and ourselves, all at the same time. As Lightworkers, this is our “job.” We can ease and facilitate our transformational process in many ways. Drink lots of purified water, get plenty of rest, support the body with healthy foods, get regular exercise, practice balancing activities like yoga and t’ai chi, soak in mineral sea salts or hot springs, and meditate, meditate, meditate. Journal your thoughts, feelings and impressions. Do something creative. Spend time in nature. Connect with the Earth and stars. Allow your heart to swell to overflowing with love as you reconnect with Divine Source. During the time of the Great Purification, we have to face it all. At the Full Moon in Taurus/Scorpio on November 15-16, our deepest secrets may be revealed. We discover our shadow selves and move toward healing. To perfect ourselves, we must die to the old way and allow the new to be born. We are moving from ego to essence. At this lunation, Uranus stations direct, urging us toward greater change and evolution in areas we may have been contemplating the past five months. Astrologer Stephanie Austin reminds us to stay grounded and take good care of our bodies “so the higher voltage of Uranus and a Full Moon doesn’t blow our circuits.” On November 22, a week after the Full Moon, Saturn stations retrograde at 11 degrees Leo, demanding that we take stock of our personal power and responsibility, including ways we may have misused our power in the past. Through the Lightbody process, all aspects of our selves are activated. As we embody more Light, our deepest shadow is revealed as much as our divinity. We’re moving toward balance. We’ve been involved in a process of “ego adjustment” for years, and especially in the past few months and weeks. This is the Shift of the Ages. Something old, of the ego, is dying away. The new, of essence, has yet to be created. We stand between dimensions and seek another way. We are purifying ourselves, coming into balance, learning to express our divine selves more fully. Notice the timing of this outburst in relation to the energies we’ve been experiencing in recent weeks. Once again, issues of poverty and race surface as they did with Hurricane Katrina in September. What we’ve ignored is demanding attention. The themes of death and rebirth take many forms. If you’ve ever experienced the technique called “rebirthing,” you know about the storm before the calm. If you’ve given birth or remember your own birth, it was, at least in part, a violent affair. The same dynamic is at play here. The Earth is being reborn as a Star, and we are the midwives. Have you noticed a difference in the ways your neighbors and friends are acting? Are they acting up? Acting out? Expressing fear or rage? Expressing Love? As the dimensions shift, we experience multiple realities at once. School shootings and hate crimes stand side by side with extreme acts of courage, compassion and creativity. A proliferation of violence is balanced by a proliferation of love. Acts of violence are rooted in emotional wounding that is working its way out of the collective consciousness. What can we do to help? Remember the Huna principle: “Energy follows attention.” Focus on love. Focus on peace. Envision a wave of calm flowing over the planet and all beings. We also need to act. Saturn in Leo urges us to step into our power and take a stand. Get involved. How will we address the issues of poverty and lack that each new day brings to our attention? How can we help the disenfranchised express their emotions in healthy, positive, even creative, ways as they reclaim their personal power? The Earth changes are upon us. It’s growing more important each day to create community based on shared values, to shift our behavior so we live in harmony with the Earth and all beings, to give of ourselves and empower our brothers and sisters so all may experience the joy of this Creation. These are the teachings of indigenous elders around the world, all nations and tribes. Today they share the teachings. Are we listening? Ultimately, the dimensions will shift completely, and we will not perceive pain, suffering and violence as we do today. The communities we’re forming will stand as a shining example of “living another way.” Those who choose to live from their hearts will be attracted to this new way of being, and we will be enriched by each others’ presence and love. Now is the time to ask: What do you stand for? What do you stand on? Who stands with you? Are changes needed? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mercury Retrograde - Let’s Play! I’ve been writing this newsletter for six years now, and every time Mercury is about to station retrograde, I look for a new perspective to share on this pesky transit. Whole books have been written about it, so there’s no shortage of subject matter! We know the benefits when Mercury appears to move backward in the sky for three weeks at a time, three to four times a year. We have a chance to retreat, relax, review, re-evaluate and finish old business. It’s a perfect time for any activity that starts with “re”! It’s not the time to launch new projects or sign contracts. We also know Mercury rules transportation and communication, so it’s a good idea to have your car and computer serviced before Mercury stations retrograde, and be patient with the inevitable glitches. Miscommunications abound. Confirm your appointments. When traveling, check to be sure the plane is leaving when it’s supposed to, or even on the day it’s scheduled! Technical glitches, accidents and missed signals are common, and some mechanical things just stop working altogether. Checks get lost in the mail. You might find yourself retracing your steps. Mostly, it pays to be patient when Mercury goes retrograde, and learn to laugh. Beginning with Mercury’s station on November 13 (and actually a few days before) through December 3 (and actually a few days after), we’re on notice that this energy is influencing us.
