TWO Little Words TOO Often Forgotten EZezine

Volume I, Issue 16.0

In the hustle and bustle of our busy schedules, especially as we approach the holiday season, we often forget two of the simplest words:  Thank You!

It is amazing how easy these words are to say, and how meaningful they can be, but somehow they are easily overlooked or forgotten.  Sometimes we even take them for granted.  Thus, I want to take this opportunity to thank YOU, my subscribers, those who have been receiving my newsletters since the beginning and those who have recently begun receiving them.  I also want to thank you for your encouragement and support along the way and for forwarding the newsletters to your friends, colleagues and family members when you feel there is information that would be of value to them.

As we move into the holiday season in the next couple of weeks, I have listed below a few "thank yous" in no particular order, that you may want to consider bestowing to show your appreciation:

  • To your employees for their time and talents to help your team and organization be successful
  • To your mentors who have inspired you to be all that you can be
  • To those people who have offered advice which you may not have wanted at the time, but who helped you get past obstacles that kept you from growing
  • To your spouse or significant other for their love and support during good times and bad times
  • To your children who help you to see the wonderment of life through their eyes and who help you remember to have fun, because life is too short
  • To the service men and women we see at airports who put their lives on the line so that we may continue to enjoy the freedoms and prosperity we do
  • To the custodial personnel who clean our offices
  • To those who help the less fortunate improve their lives

The list is endless.  We all have very much for which to be thankful, so let's remember to extend that "thanks" to others throughout the year.  Everyone wants to be appreciated, and when they receive a genuine "thank you", they feel that way.

Wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday season, and thank you for all you do!

Laura
