It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV
Every morning when you get up, there is a new package at your table. Your worries and concerns probably try to bush it to the back. Certainly, they clamor more loudly and perhaps visibly, for your attention.
God's mercies are fresh and new. Every morning. No matter what happened before, you have the continuing opportunity to work for His Kingdom. No matter the record, you continue because He said you may.
Nothing exhausts God's pool of compassion. No series of events exceed His store of mercy. He is an unlimited God who just happens to love finite people.
The weighty question is your response. Knowing that every day, God has given you gifts, how do you respond? What do you do with today's mercy and grace?
That new package is sitting at your table. Clear away the clutter and noise that try to crowd out His gift to you. Choose carefully how you are going to respond to a God who gives you so much.
Think: Every morning, God pours fresh compassion and mercy over my life.
Pray: “Lord, help me to take advantage of the gifts You you give me every day.”
