Currency Of Heaven” by Kirk Hunt

And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

Matthew 9:20-21 KJV

Jairus tugged on Jesus' sleeve while plowing through the throng. The synagogue leader desperately needed and wanted Jesus to heal his sick little girl. The crowd wanted more spectacle and wonder.

She pressed her way toward Jesus. The burden of her disease had robbed her of cash, joy and livelihood. At the end, her only remaining possessions were faith and hope.

Faith is the currency of heaven. Hope is the billfold for such precious money. If anything compels God, it is our willingness to believe His Word and act in response.

She pressed forward for her change. She didn't want attention. She didn't seek Jesus' touch or prayer. All she needed was an opportunity to spend her faith on the Godly desire of her heart. God-in-flesh felt the power flow through Him.

Despite the massive throng. In spite of the urgent need before Him. Jesus made time. She spent her faith on a miracle and Jesus would not let her divine purchase go unnoticed.

Your faith is the currency of heaven. Even your small allowance, wadded in the corner of your hope, is worth more than anyone can imagine. That little bit of faith will buy you passage to God's throne.

Are you willing to press forward? Touch the hem of His garment. God's wants to stop the parade to answer your faith. Today.

Think: My faith is the currency of heaven.

Pray: “Lord, I choose to trust You.”
