"Orders From The King" by
Kirk Hunt And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually. (2 Samuel 9:7 KJV)
King David's orders don't follow the logic or practice of power politics. All of King Saul's property and wealth are immediately deeded and transferred to Mephibosheth. A servant is appointed to oversee the estates, accountable only to Mephibosheth. The boy will live, as a son of the king, in the palace with David. David's made every effort to honor his promises to Prince Jonathan. With all of the determination he used to wage war, David delivered security and peace to Mephibosheth's life. No one could mistake the orders from the king. As you kneel before the King of heaven, He wants to honor His promises to His Son. Are you prepared to accept the security and peace He wants to deliver to your life? You can choose to live like a son of the King. God calls to you, today. He has ample provision and a princely place reserved for you. All you have to do is obey orders from the King. Think: God loves me and has made provision for me. Pray: “Lord, thank You for all You have already done, are doing now, and will do in my life.” Copyright © July 2008, Kirk Hunt |
