Dreaming - Live Your Road Trip Dream - HUGE SALE - January, 2008 EZezine

Our Biggest Sale Ever - A Customer Appreciation Event!

Tick, tick, tick, tick – the clock is counting down to the release of the second edition of Live Your Road Trip Dream on March 15.

I thought I would run out of books, but find I actually have a couple of cases leftover, so I’m going to give you, my loyal newsletter fans, first rights to them at a rock bottom price.

Stock up on your gifts for this year - at this price you can afford to give one as a “hostess gift” instead of a bottle of wine!

If you enter the promotional code of “sellout” (no quotes) in the shopping cart, I’ll even take another buck (gasp!) off the price.

Don’t tell Phil…

Happy shopping

The New Face of RVing

There are so many boomers out on the road now living their dreams and writing blogs, that I can no longer keep up with it.

One of the most “high tech” I’ve seen (what are all those weird things – twitter? digg this? stumble it?); and do they ever look like they are having a good time.  Even their logo makes you think of good times.

Mari wrote to me a while back:

My husband and I are from San Diego, CA – we sold our home in July and decided to act on a long term dream of traveling the US and Canada in a big motorhome for as long as we enjoy the mobile lifestyle. We are not retired – I’m just 41, hubby’s in his 50’s. We run businesses from the road and are making adjustments every day!! So far, so good.

…just wanted to say hi.

Cheers, Mari

They are one of what I call the “new guard” of RVers.  Go have some fun exploring their site – they are having a blast and working on the road too.

Fun Gizmos for your RV Lifestyle

How about a Campground Map?

Or a map of all the States you have visited?

We picked up your book at a Campers Barn in southern CA in June, spending the last of a gift card we'd been given.

I'm attaching a brief summary of OUR last trip and two Shutterfly addresses if you wanted to skip quickly through some of the photos to see us and some of the places we traveled.

   (May-June 2007 trip)

    (June 2006 trip)

Yes, we'd LOVE to connect with you in Oregon. Oregon was SO awesomely beautiful in May - the flowers/ bushes/ color!

Enjoy!

Pat Butler

Pat - I'm doing a double take - were we on the same trip??  We went to almost the identical places as you did. I see that we both have a love of photography - your pictures are really nice.  I did see a couple of places we have missed that I am putting on my mental list right now - the museum in Milwaukee and Antelope Canyon in AZ.  Your rig looks really nice - I'll be anxious to see it when we get together.

Yes, we encourage all of you out there traveling to stop by and see us near Portland, Oregon – we make a mean lunch for visitors!  In the summer (best time in Oregon) we eat out on the patio overlooking the golf course…

What do you think?

We are always anxious to hear from our readers and friends about how we are doing.

Always feel free to email us with your road trip questions or tips, or thoughts about the book.  We’ll be printing some of your comments in the months to come.

Where have your dreams taken you?

Please send us your travel pictures taken on your road trip dream.  We want to share stories of trips that were inspired by reading Live Your Road Trip Dream – Travel for a year for the cost of staying home.

Until next time.. Keep Dreaming...
