ARIES (March 21-April 19): In my book *Pronoia Is the Antidote for Paranoia,* there's a 1500-word piece extolling a few of the many ways in which I feel that living on this planet is a glorious privilege. You're in a phase of your astrological cycle when it makes perfect sense for you to write something similar. To be in maximum alignment with cosmic luck, therefore, you should sit down and compose a list of everything that works well for you, delights you, and helps you feel at home in the world. Call it your "Joy Manifesto."   By Rob Brezsny - http://www.freewillastrology.com

Do As I Say, Not As I Do:

The pressure is on.  Lead by example.  Teach what you know best.  Be all you can be.  In a perfect world I could write to you from a lofty height of knowledge and wisdom.  My words would be as pearls.  You would all be uplifted.  We would all be floating around on clouds of serenity.  Yeah, right.  Here I am writing the newsletter late again.  I have a book proposal to finish and I am no where near done.  There is the weight to lose, and love to gain.  If I am to lead by example I would say do as I say, not as I do.  I can be your guide to how not to live your life.  Not that I am evil or anything. Not that I am not doing some fun an interesting things. It’s just that I don’t have the answers and maybe you do.  Maybe we can help each other on this kind of bumpy road of life.  What are your pearls of wisdom?  What are the gifts you have to offer?  I know you have them.  Even in my worst moments there is something I can offer.  Dig deep, deeper, and deeper.  Uncover the gifts buried behind all the self doubts.  When I procrastinate I will think of you out there giving your gifts out, presenting yourself like the wonderful people you are.  When I forget who I am, I will use you as my inspiration.  There are some days I am in the groove.  I am creating.  I am living large.  If you need a hand up I will be there.  We are not alone.  My good days can be yours too.  My bad days I guess they are yours too.  No we are not alone.  We falter and fall.  We laugh and love not in a bubble but in the world.  Our actions for good or bad will affect those around us.  January is a good time to envision the future.  It is not a bad idea to do a yearly review, make adjustments and design some new life plans.  I fulfilled one goal for 2006 - visiting a museum/gallery/show at least once a month.  Living in NYC makes that easier.  I just visited the Raymond Pettibon exhibit at the Whitney Museum.  His use of art and language was intriguing and fun.  It gave me some ideas about my own work.  2006 will also bring more movie excursions, time with friends, and added in will be a better diet and working out more.  I also have the book proposal to do and hopefully a book to work on in 2006.  I have had a silent, lonely blog for a couple of years.  I have maybe two entries.  I have listed below a couple of blogs I like.  Some are written in every day.  Others are used for informational purposes.  In 2006 I would like to make better use of technology.  These are just some of the things I am working on for this year.  Like my horoscope, quoted above, I would like to write my own Joy Manifesto.  You don’t have to believe in horoscopes or be an Aries to use that idea.  Hey after the last couple of years couldn’t we all use a lot more joy?

Do as I say if you want.  Not as I do, unless some ideas caught your attention.  Continue to live large and larger and even larger still.

In 2006 I will have some guest articles and maybe additional tips from interesting people.  Be well, and have a great time this year.

Romantic tips by Laurie Sue Brockway

13 Steps For Making Your Romantic Dreams Come True:

"Always be ready - you can meet that special someone at the most unexpected times and places." --  Dr. Judy Kuriansky, The Complete Idiot's Guide To Dating

Welcome to Project Soul Mate.

These tips will help you to open your heart, your arms and your life to love in 2005 and beyond.  Forget about searching for the one who might be The One. First, clean up stuff you no longer need, get your life in order, and simultaneously, get ready for love. Here are just a few of my pearls of wisdom on the topic, culled from more than 25 years of work on the front line of the Relationship Revolution and many more than that out and about on Love's Battlefield.

Tip # 8: Consciously create your own soul mate reality

Hollywood movies provide plenty of fodder to inspire hope in sacred love – as well as filling our psyches with images of "perfect love" that is unattainable to most of us and impossible to maintain every moment of the day for the rest of us. Hollywood gives us the added advantage of being able to create our own reality, stories, and drama and personal legends. It’s important to live the legend that is personally empowering. Somewhere out there is likely a guy or gal who is working on the same material and beliefs. You will have similar vibrations and mindsets, and you will recognize each other from the get go -- as long as your lives are not cluttered with insurmountable physical, logistical, legal, emotional, spiritual refuge from the past.  Stay tuned for tips 9-13

Abundance tips from Lucia Luna:  Clean Clutter To Unblock Your Financial Flow

Look at your office, your desk, and your home? Does clutter prevail? Clutter keeps energy from flowing freely through your life.  Since money is a form of energy, clutter can block financial flow.  When it comes to money, clutter interferes with cash flow management, contributes to financial vagueness, and reduces productivity.

Financial abundance requires an ability to handle multiple streams of income and timely payment of obligations.  And effective cash flow management can only happen if an efficient bookkeeping system is in place to track income versus expenses, and a calendar of payments needs to be devised.  In addition to an effective cash flow management, you need to have focused attention and organization.  A cluttered environment contributes to ongoing financial vagueness, a common symptom among people with blocked financial flow, and it is a time waster because unproductive hours are often spent searching for needed information or items which leaves less time for money-generating or creative activities.

So, to increase your financial flow you must clear your clutter.  Clearing clutter will improve your self-image and sense of worth, it will raise your level of self-trust, facilitate clear thinking, improve your productivity, raising levels of self-trust, facilitating clear thinking, and improving productivity.
