Welcome... To our new and returning readers! This issue of WAT focuses on buried testimonials. You know, when you have to go digging to see some feedback.... Un-Bury your Testimonials... I've seen oodles of sites with links to "testimonials", "what they're saying about us", "feedback from our clients", etc. Having a seperate page for testimonials is all fine and dandy, but take the time to integrate them into your site as well. If you have testimonials for a particular product or service, why not thread them into the product/service description itself? We're talking emotional connection here folks. Here's an example: Here's some real world examples for you: www.successfulworkshops.com And, here's an example of how to bury your testimonials, guilty Lisa, guilty! www.webcocktail.com/about.html Where else can you put testimonials?
So, un-bury your testimonials, bring 'em front and center, let them shine as you have shined to the folks who wrote them. Again, this will create a much deeper emotional connect with your site visitors and potential clients. What's Lisa doing? I've been outrageously busy developing the new version of EZezine.com. This system is going to rock! Beyond a whole new look and feel, we're re-writing the software to be an even better ezine hosting system with oodles of features. Keep your eyes open for announcements of our launch over the next several months. For fun? Well, today is my birthday! Sagittarian that I am, I have nearly a two week birthday party planned, part of which will be taking place in Vegas. Hey, you only turn 40 once, eh? Til next time, Be Well and Market Twisted, |
