Dear Friends of Connecting Stories,
ELEVEN new stories (plus more gorgeous pictures) have been posted to www.connectingstories.com
Rather than post the stories in pdfs for downloading, as I had planned, I've decided to expand the website. A preview:
There's an update to Micki's "Threads" story and another story from Micki, "Sweet Poland." Three strangers help a Holocaust survivor find proof of his existence.
"He Lied About Nearly Everything" - Hallie left her big city life -- security, comfort, friends, family, job, apartment -- to follow her dream of interning on an organic farm. Some people said she was crazy and predicted she'd return home very soon. When her plane landed in Oregon, everything she owned was in a few pieces of luggage. And then she stepped into a nightmare. It was a lie. There was no farm; no internship waited for her.
"Parallel Lives" asks: If we take the time and make the opportunities to really see what is around us, will we find that our world is actually much smaller than it seems? Are we more connected than isolated in our goals, dreams and challenges? Are there more people out there with parallel lives?
Could that stranger sitting next to you at the airport actually be a relative? "Relative Strangers" tells us "yes!"
And much more.

Thank you so much for your interest in this project. Please help me to spread the word about connecting stories. Someone you know has a story to tell. Pass this update on and help to spread the word.
Wishing you joyful connections!
